emergency room diagnosis

i just got back from the emergency room to check on my head after i hit it on the bleachers on saturday. i got in to see the doctor i think within 15 minutes, so it wasn't as bad as it could've been or i've experienced in the past at different emergency rooms i think. the doctor asked me what happened and i told him that i fell backwards while sitting on the bleachers when i went to the vikings' training camp on saturday and i hit my head 3 times. i said i got myself up and the guard checked to see if i was alright the first time i fell. the doctor decided i was ok since i wasn't experiencing any symptoms like dizziness, headache (it hurt the first day i fell but it never hurted afterward except for if you pushed on the area where my head hit the bleachers), or nausea afterwards. i was sitting in the waiting room after the appointment and some girl (i think it was a girl) said she wasn't gonna tell her pca what she told the doctor and her pca said to her, "well i don't really see the point of you even telling me there's something you told the doctor and not me then.." he has a point. so then i listened to them have a conversation/little squabble about that til my ics worker called me back and told me he was at the emergency room to pick me up. so i raised my hand (because the nurse who rolled me in a wheelchair told me to raise my hand whenever i needed to tell people anything or needed anything) and asked for someone to take me out front where my ics worker was picking me up. they said they were busy at the moment but they'd see if they could get someone- then the girl's pca volunteered to take me out to my ics worker. so the girl's pca rolled me out to the front where i got into the ics worker's car. now that i think about it- i think that girl's pca was looking for anything ELSE to do to get away from his client.. heh. the way that girl was talking- i guess i don't really blame him. i hope i wasn't as much of a freak to my pca's as that girl. so i'm glad not to have anything wrong with me. i think my shoulders MAY have also been hurting yesterday because i seen how burnt they are from being out in the sun on saturday (without sunscreen- i honestly never thought of putting any on.. i usually don't burn). the nurse and doctor looked at my shoulders when i was putting the gown on and they said, "HAH.. i can see WHY your shoulders hurt." although the pain i felt yesterday was more of my shoulder muscles/bones hurting then.. my skin really only started hurting after i took a shower this morning when i discovered i was burnt in the first place because my skin on my shoulders burnt while the water was hitting my shoulders. i was thinking that i needed to get some aloe but i'm not really sure where to get some aloe from. fredrick went home for the day, so he can't take me to walgreens to get any or anything.
